If potential is relational, not something people “have” but something that emerges in encounters, then the implications explode.

We keep optimizing the inside of people and institutions while ignoring encounter quality that could actually create new reachable futures.

If humanity's ultimate objective is going beyond survival to thriving and generating more potential, not less—then we’ve built homes, schools, work, orgs, and s societies on a categorical error. And the downstream effects look exactly like you’d expect: plateaus, fragility, destabilization.
